    .  The musical opened NYC on 10/05/44 and ran for 654 performances.  Inside are production photos, costumed cast photos, bios, background of the show, synopsis and critics' quotes.  The cast includes Celeste Holm, Margaret Douglass, Joan McCracken, David Brooks, Dooley Wilson, Mabel Taliaferro and Matt Briggs.  Music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and book by Sig Herzig and Fred Saidy (based on the play by Lilith and Dan James).  Directed and choreographed by E.Y. Harburg. Comes as seen in the pictures.
