Pocketbook Basic 4 E-Reader E-Ink Carta 6" 8GB MicroSD Thin and Light

One of my favorite e-readers but recently moved to a Boox Leaf so I'm getting rid of this one. The Pocketbook Basic 4 is exactly what it said, a pure e-ink experience (like a vastly improved Kindle 4 with the buttons) with Carta HD screen: no bluetooth, no wifi, with no light layer (no front lighting), no touch layer which is pretty striking to be right on the Carta e-ink layer in the sun. For the e-ink purist, this is a great e-reader. Very very crisp. 8gb, Linux base and MicroSD slot if you want to go nuts with your Calibre collection. I had been looking for some time for something with no light or touch layers that get in the way of just reading. Unlike the Kindle, Kobo or Boox, you don't register it. Turn it on and you're good to go. The pics are what you're going to receive. Has on of the most valuable features to me: screensaver of whatever book you're currently reading. I took pics with a Pixel 6 so you should be able to Zoom to see the condition. No visible scratches on the screen and very minimal on the back. On two of the sides (not the corners) there are some scratches on the casing but you're likely not going to see them. The bezel is pretty clean (see pictures). It's very light and thin which was what I was looking for as I'm on the Subway often in NYC and wanted something I could hold with one hand and not worry if a finger was touching the screen to randomly page turn. It has programmable keys which are nice, a few little distraction games, and a quality spellcheck.
