    This is a beautiful May 16th, 1949 (Opening Night) playbill from the Broadway revival of the GEORGE BERNARD SHAW classic "MAN AND SUPERMAN" at the City Center of Music and Drama in New York City. (The revival opened October 8th, 1947 at New York's Alvin Theatre, moved to the Hudson Theatre on February 16th, 1948 and ran for 295 performances before going on the road. Following the tour, the production returned to New York City Center on May 16th, 1949 for an additional 16 performances.) ..... The play starred MAURICE EVANS and featured MALCOLM KEEN, DOROTHY EATON, CHESTER STRATTON, FRANCES ROWE, JOSEPHINE BROWN, PHOEBE MACKAY, NAN McFARLAND, MORTON DaCOSTA, JAMES DALY and VICTOR SUTHERLAND .....
