Description

This is a Horiba CFO, it is in good working condition. It's used in emission testing.
This unit injects test quantities of propane at a constant flow rate and mixing level. After passing through a ruby orifice, the test gas is injected into the test stream through a rosette. The rosette assures uniform mixing of the test gas before it enters the CVS. Mass is calculated from CFO volume, propane concentration, and density.
More convenient than gravimetric measurements - weighing a gas cylinder before and after injection - the CFO technique provides rapid and accurate results.
