This is a souvenir program from the Original Broadway production of the GUY BOLTON, EDDIE DAVIS and DAN SHAPIRO musical comedy "FOLLOW THE GIRLS" which played the Forty-Fourth Street Theatre in New York City. The production opened April 8th, 1944 and ran for 882 performances. The musical starred GERTRUDE NIESEN and featured JACKIE GLEASON, BUSTER WEST, IRINA BARONOVA, TIM HERBERT, VAL VALENTINOFF, DOROTHY KELLER, KAREN STEVENS, RICHARD DANA and WALTER LONG. The oversized 20 page program measures 8 1/2" X 11" inches and includes full production credits, photos and bios of each of the actors and members of the creative team, a page of excerpts from a number of New York reviews, and several pages of photos of scenes from the musical. Overall it is in good condition.
