This is a rare August 14th, 1945 broadside (single page playbill) from the Pasadena Playhouse production of theEUGENE O'NEILL trilogy "MOURNING BECOMES ELECTRA"
at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California. (

production opened October 26th, 1931 at New York's Guild Theatre, transferred on February 29th, 1932 to the Alvin Theatre and ran for 150 performances

The production was composed of three plays, presented on a single day, "HOMECOMING", "THE HUNTED" and "THE HAUNTED". The ensemble cast included JEAN CHEW, MARTHA HYER, LESLIE HILL-LEVITT, LENORE SHANEWISE, GLANCE YOUNG, LEE MALBURN, PAT RIORDAN, JOHN THOMAS PIMLEY, CHARLES WOOD, ONSLOW STEVENS, DAN LEVIN, HUGH BRADFORD and ARTHUR WOLZMUTH

CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle, light creasing and minor edge wear, this broadside is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
