You are bidding on a great, vintage publication from MID-CENTURY Detroit culture. This Showbill from Sept 30 - October 6, 1946 is from
    The DETROIT GRAND OPERA'S
    proud presentation of
    The PHILADELPHIA LA SCALA OPERA.
This 70 year old stage bill is packed with some great documentation and some wonderful & graphical advertisements from that era.
IN ADDITION, attached to the front cover is an ORIGINAL TICKET STUB from the Wednesday evening performance of TOSCA that week that the original owner and patron of the Detroit Opera Company saved. That Detroit resident was an avid Opera fanatic, and she not only attended performances constantly, but she also meticulously collected local Detroit ticket stubs.  AWESOME and extremely rare collection of this ephemera.  This will make a fine addition to your collection.
    Lots of cool stuff here.
