    This is a rare November 28th, 1945 program (playbill) from the four-night engagement of the
    Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company's production of the
    W. S.
    GILBERT and ARTHUR SULLIVAN comic opera "THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE" (or "The Slave of Duty") performed in repertory at the Davidson Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (The engagement included performances of
    "THE MIKADO",
    "TRIAL BY JURY",
    "H. M. S. PINAFORE" and
    "THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE".)

The cast of "THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE" included sixteen year-old BEVERLY SILLS, who made her professional stage debut in this tour which visited twelve cities in the United States and Canada.
