Here is the rundown:
KEY LARGO 1940: From the Biltmore Theater in Los Angeles, comes the west coast version of Playbill, THE PLAYGOER. Program was given out at the May 20 1940 performance of PAUL MUNI in KEY LARGO (the play which would be adapted into a Feature film starring Humphrey Bogart). Program includes great ads for many Hollywood jewelry and clothing retailers along with L.A. nightspots including the Earl Carroll Theatre Restaurant, The Florentine Gardens, Lindy’s, The Tropics. Last page features list of the then top L.A. eateries. Program also features a rather odd ad for Forest Lawn with the headline “My Grandma Lives At Forest Lawn”, Program is in very fine, near pristine condition.

Lots of ads for top retailers and night spots including jQuo Vadis, Chesapeake House, the Plaza, The Waldorf Astoria and the Versailles.
