    Description

    A programme for St. James's Theatre. First performance Thursday May 10th 1951. Caesar and Cleopatra starring married couple Laurence Olivier (known for Spartacus and countless Shakespeare productions) and Vivien Leigh of Gone With The Wind fame.
    This was the first performance. It is common still to do this day for a first performance to happen on a Thursday assuming they are gaging a crowd reaction for a larger crowd on the weekend.
    There are some advertisements...a really nice one for Rose's Lime Juice on the back.
